September 2015 Meeting Notes
President Aggie Moore called the meeting to order. The minutes were read by Secretary Erin Urban and approved. The checking and savings were reported by Treasurer Brenda Lagasse.
The Board of Directors had not met and scheduled to meet at 6:30 pm on Wednesday, September 23rd at the Arena (Lance Lagasse’s building if it is raining).
Activities Committee
Kansas Cowboy Dressage Association Clinic is Saturday and Sunday, September 12th and 13th at the Arena.
Monthly Trail Ride is Sunday, September 13th at 1:30 pm at Kanopolis State Park.
Fall Fest Parade is Saturday, September 26th at 10:00 am. Park trailers at train tracks on Cedar St. (same as last year) at 9:00 am. We will check will Earl Hale to see if he will scoop poop for us. We will carry the Rodeo sponsor flags. Those interested will need to contact Sandy Kennedy.
Youth Buckle Series at the Arena. 4D for each event (barrels, poles, keyhole, and flag race). $5.00 each day per child. Registration at 1:00 pm. If the weather is below 40ºF, it will be rescheduled.

Lance Lagasse moved that the Club purchase the buckles ($360.00) and put entry money into prizes. Daniel Robison seconded and the motion passed.
Monthly Meeting is Tuesday, October 6th at 8:00 pm in the Chamber of Commerce.
Kansas Cowboy Dressage Association Play Day is Saturday, October 10th at the Arena.
Monthly Trail Ride is Sunday, October 11th at Kanopolis State Park at 1:30 pm.

Equine Dentist will be in Concordia on Saturday, October 17th.

No Autumn Vet/Farrier Day.
Unfinished Business
Planting trees around the Arena: Several members would like to shade stripping chute by planting a tree in the pen across from the stripping chute. Lance Lagasse made the motion to place a tree in the pen across from the stripping chute in memory of Jeremiah Specht. Donna Barleen seconded the motion and the motion passed. The Board of Directors will discuss placement of more trees around the grounds.
The meeting adjourned at 8:45 pm.
