November 2016 Meeting Notes

The November meeting of the NCK saddle club was called to order by President Ritchie Farrell. The Treasurer’s report was read, there were no minutes.

Old Business:

Ritchie reported that he will finish winterizing the concession stand. The refrigerators and freezer will be unplugged to save electricity. A lock will be installed on the outside freezer.

New Business:

Lance presented to the club an arena finishing equipment available to purchase for $1750 ($250 of that price for delivery). It was moved and seconded that we purchase the equipment. Motion carried.

The annual party will be held at Kristy’s restaurant with a menu choice of fried chicken or smothered steak. The price is $12.49 for adults and $6.99 for children. Party will be on Sunday, December 11, at 6:00 pm.

We have been invited to ride in the Veterans Parade in Clifton on Friday, November 11. The application will be given to Lana Stolzenburg to fill out.

Activities for November will be a trail ride at Charlie’s on Sunday, November 13.

It was suggested that someone in the saddle club have a key to the restrooms for our events. Lance will bring it up with the fair board.
