The Annual Meeting Committee narrowed the choices to two and Ritchie Farrell made a motion to have the Annual Meeting at the Brown Grand with Rollin’ Smoke catering. Jordan Libel seconded and the motion passed with one opposed. Donna Barleen was the only member to volunteer to be on the nominating committee.

Sunday, November 23rd is the final day of the Kids’ Buckle Series at 2:00 pm.
It was brought up to have bathroom facilities available for events at the arena.
Old Business:
We need to winterize the new concession stand and mow one last time for the year. The door for the old concession stand is in and ready to be installed. Neil Losh volunteered to install it.
Earl Hale went to the fairboard meeting. He said the the electric poles were not supposed to be in our name. The fairboard has no plans to change the plugs.
Earl brought up getting more permanent tanks for the arena, so we didn’t have to replace them every year. He found two blemished tanks that were about 3′ x 5′ and 2′ deep. It was discussed to place the tanks where two pens can access the tank. Raye Crane made a motion to purchase the two blemished tanks. Jordan seconded and the motion passed.
No one had got ahold of the Abilene Cowboy Church, so nothing was done there.
New Business
Aggie brought up that the American and Club flag are looking worse for wear. Lana said that the Drill Team had an extra American flag that could be used. It would need to have the fringe sewn on. Charles Hansen asked that the Club flag not be white, as it does not stand out well.
Awards for the Annual Meeting was discussed. We have Top Hand, Trail Boss, and Chuck Wagon. Several nominations were brought up for the awards. Several of the helpers for the new concession stand were mentioned as to how grateful we were to have their assistance. Raye made a motion to buy the dinner at the Holiday Party and Annual Meeting for Bruce Brown, Jason Townsdin, Terr Franz, Joe Collin, and John Boden. Brenda Lagasse seconded and the motion passed.
Aggie asked us to think about the need to add storage. Lance’s building, originally thought for the new concession stand, and building something under the bleacher were ideas brought up.
Lana Stolzenburg wanted to purchase items to the Drill Team. They are preparing for competition in Lyon in June. She has breast collars, headstalls, and reins totaling $650 and more flag poles for $50. She also wanted new shirts for the Drill Team members, as the design was yet to be finalized she didn’t have a complete total. Raye made a motion to pay $700 for the breast collars, headstalls, reins, and flag poles with more to come for the shirts. Erin Urban seconded and the motion passed.
Donna brought up wanting a budget to spend on prizes for the Kids’ Buckle Series. With several suggestions Lance made a motion to pay for $250 on top of the buckles for prizes. Raye seconded and the motion passed.
The meeting adjourned at 9:25 pm
