March 2018 Meeting Notes

The meeting was called to order by President Ritchie Farrell. The minutes were read and approved. Treasurer Brenda Lagasse reported the checking and savings.

The Rodeo Committee reported from their meeting. They are still looking for a rodeo clown. Lance Lagasse is looking to be co-sanctioned with other rodeo groups. He also wanted to add women’s breakaway with added money at $400. It was discussed to only allow kids to ride in Jr Barrels one night or the other. We are looking at having the FFA run the concession stand.

Erin Urban was contacted by Lori Ingram about hosting a youth rodeo featuring mini bulls. It was decided to let her know if she wanted to she could pay the arena fee, but we were not able to host one at this time.

Work night is scheduled for 3/27 at 6 to spray for weed, take down the tree by the hydrant, figure out which boards to replace on the North and South bleachers.
