June 2014 Meeting Notes

Meeting was called to order at 8:06 p.m. by President Aggie Moore.

Minutes were read and approved and there was no treasurer’s report. Bills presented to the President were $757 for lumber for the concession stand, the $500 for the building, $100 for moving the building, and $700 for the siding foe the concession stand. Earl Hale will get the waste water permit to Aggie.

Rodeo Queen Committee:
They have two girls. It was decided to lower the age to 14 years old to get more contestants. Eric Voss made the motion and Lana Stolzenburg seconded and the motion passed.

Activities Committee:
June 13th Trail Ride at the missile silos. Charles Hansen will be moving cattle.
June 14th NBHA
June 22nd NCK Saddle Club’s Open Show starting at 9:00 a.m.
July 4th is a roping from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Lance is needing office help.
July 3rd City Fireworks and Saddle Club Potluck
July 28th Randolf Trail Riding at 10:00 a.m.
August 16th and 17th is the KJRA

New Business:
Jacqueline Wilson will help 4-Hers prepare for the horse show for $40 per lesson.

Since we missed the spring issue of the Better Horses Network, Eric made a motion to not do the summer issue since it will barely be out before the rodeo. Brittany Moore seconded the motion and the motion passed.
