January 2015 Meeting Notes

President Aggie Moore called the meeting to order. The minutes were read and approved. There was no Treasurer’s report.

The Board of Directors met on Monday, January 5th. Arena maintenance was discussed and chairmen were selected for the committees. The Board plans to meet again later in the year to further discuss the arena.

The Activities Committee will meet after the meeting.

Unfinished Business:

Katie Lehmann is looking into an April date for the postponed Open Reining.

The NCK Rodeo will be Wednesday, July 22nd and Thursday, July 23rd. Greg Lehmann is looking into entertainment.

New Business:

Kandi Buchwald asked if she could use the arena for two play days and one clinic for the Kansas Cowboy Dressage Association. She was thinking March 28th and May 9th through 10th. Eric Voss made a motion to allow Kansas Cowboy Dressage Association to use the arena if they participants become members. Ritchie Farrell seconded and the motion passed.

Lance Lagasse wanted to have a roping/barrel race/fun show on August 15th through 16th.

Greg and Katie asked the Club is they could use the panels at the fair grounds for a Beefmaster Show in March. Jordan Libel made a motion, it was seconded and the motion passed.

The Fairboard purchased a manure spreader, it is located on the south side of the fairgrounds. Please place the manure in it.
