August 2016 Meeting Notes

The meeting was called to order by President Ritchie Farrell. The minutes were read and approved. Treasurer Brenda Lagasse went through the checking and savings. Not all the bills and sponsor checks are in from the Annual Rodeo.

Because of the weather on Thursday night of the Rodeo attendance was down. Brenda made a motion to not charge the CHS Booster Club for the concession stand at the Rodeo. The motion was seconded by Aggie Moore and the motion passed.

The Abilene Cowboy Church group came and helped work the pens during the Rodeo. Aggie asked that we pay them $100 for their help. The motion was seconded by Terry Greer and the motion passed.

High School Rodeo
We need volunteers to take money at the gate and announce and time at both arenas. An email will be sent out with more information. Monday, August 15th is a Work Night. We need to mow and weed eat. The FFA will be there to set up pens.

Trail Ride will be on Sunday, August 14 at Charles’ pens on Gold Rd south of town.
