April 2018 Meeting Notes

The meeting was called to order by President Ritchie Farrell. The minutes were read with the addition of June 23 & 24 is our EKHA Horse Show. There was no Treasurer’s report.

Old Business

There is a Trail Ride in Harlan, NE on April 28 at 1:00 pm. It should be a 3-4 hour ride.

Equine Health Fair is Saturday, April 7, at Tallgrass Vet Hospital. Andy Asch will be there until 11:00 am and Brett will arrive at noon.

Arena: Be sure to work the arena before and after practices and keep the gates closed.

New Business

Ritchie sent flowers for Jim Larson’s funeral.

NBHA wants to host a barrel race on May 6th. Brittany Moore made a motion to host the NBHA race for $100 and provide a tractor. Donna Barleen seconded and the motion passed.

Have not heard back from Ed McCarty.
